The nice and likeable singer ANNEKE VAN GIERSBERGEN probably needs no further introduction. Rock-metal fans fell in love with her a long time ago, from her time in melancholic-metal band THE GATHERING. But ANNEKE loves music in all its forms and shapes and has managed to build a dazzling solo career!
The day after tomorrow, ANNEKE is coming to the Masters of Rock Café in Zlín with her new project "Heavy Strings"! This tour features a wide selection of heavy-metal music, from Iron Maiden anthems and Scorpions power ballads to Black Sabbath classics, all performed in impressive semi-classical arrangements for string quartet, piano and vocals. It's her tribute to her rock and metal heroes.
