The stellar project of NIGHTWISH frontman and main composer Tuomas Holopainen and his wife, called AURI, will be heard in PRAGUE at the Hybernia Theater in September 2025!
In the fleeting moments between waking and reaching the door of the dream world lies the borderland, from where comes the beautiful moody music of the ancient stories told by three creative souls known as AURI.
AURI is a Finnish-British musical group founded by the famous composer and musician Tuomas Holopainen (NIGHTWISH). In addition to him, the line-up also includes his wife, singer Johanna Kurkela, and multi-instrumentalist Troy Donockley (NIGHTWISH). Holopainen named the band after the main female character from the book “The Kingkiller Chronicle” by writer Patrick Rothfuss. This trio creates completely new fantastic worlds, where the endless fantasy of Tuomas' keyboards sounds, Troy's entire arsenal of flutes and other folk instruments, and where you will feel the magical touch of Johanna's youthful and tender voice. AURI's dream music will captivate you from the first note and will not let you go!
