KAMELOT will play as part of their European tour in April 2023 in PRAGUE!

The popular American power-metal band KAMELOT is coming back to Europe! At the beginning of 2023, they will finally release the long-awaited, new album as a follow-up to their very successful album "The Shadow Theory" from 2018 and will go on a big tour, which will not miss the Czech Republic.

One concert of the tour belongs to us!  7.4.2023, PRAGUE, MeetFactory!

KAMELOT's Thomas Youngblood says of the songwriting approach for the band's next album: "Obviously there's a balance between making an album that the fans expect, but then doing things a little differently so you don't repeat yourself. And we're quite good in it. When it comes to music, especially metal, people expect a certain thing from you, so we always try to have that 'our' kind of DNA on every record, but also to differentiate them somehow at the end. This new album will have the same kind of approach - we have a lot of different, new kinds of elements or influences, but then there will be things that people really expect that are like the KAMELOT brand.”

They worked with Sascha Paeth on the production of the album and the collaboration worked perfectly again.

On the album, Youngblood continues: "Having Tommy [Karevik, vocals] as one of the songwriters now has been killer; he's coming up with some really cool stuff. And then of course Oliver [Palotai, keyboards] and myself and Alex [Landenburga] our drummer, we've all got loads great ideas. So yeah, the new record is going to be very exciting."

The special guests of the tour are the Tunisian progressive-metal band MYRATH with their current album "Shehili" (2019), the Swedish symphonic-metal beauty ELEINE and the new, ambitious German band LEAGUE OF DISTORTION.
