German heavy metal icon ACCEPT celebrates 50 years of pure power this year and is coming to celebrate this significant anniversary with you on December 5th at the Zlín Datart sports hall, at the 20th edition of the international metal festival WINTER MASTERS OF ROCK!
To mark their historic milestone, they will also release the groundbreaking album "Teutonic Titans 1976-2026", as the definitive expression of the band's legacy, forged in steel and powered by unmistakable riffs. The album will be released this Friday, September 4th, 2026!
This album features some of the most iconic songs ever written in heavy music. Led by guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, longtime architect of ACCEPT’s sound, and featuring a staggering 50 guests on 19 remastered versions of the band’s greatest songs, ACCEPT releases one of their most ambitious and star-studded albums to date. Building on albums from their formative years, from “I’m a Rebel” (1980) to “Eat the Heat” (1989), ACCEPT presents their songs with an all-new, all-star lineup, complete with the signature voice of Mark Tornillo and Wolf Hoffmann’s unmistakable riffs.
Each song on the album features a different combination of vocals, guitars, bass and drums, giving each classic a fresh new twist. Tobias Forge delivers a commanding performance on “Save Us” (I’m a Rebel, 1980), joined by Ray Luzier on drums. Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett and Mikkey Dee blast through speed metal on the classic “Fast As A Shark” (Restless and Wild, 1982). “Balls to the Wall” rolls with the massive range of metal god Rob Halford, alongside the guitar work of Matthias Jabs. The rediscovered “Love Child” is elevated by Billy Corgan and David Ellefson (both from 1983’s Balls to the Wall). Other guest stars on this extraordinary ACCEPT album include K. K. Downing, Bobby Blitz, Hansi Kürsch, Chris Jericho, Ralf Scheepers, Billy Sheehan, Ola Englund and Jeff Loomis. The highlight is a reprise of “Hellhammer” (Eat the Heat, 1989) performed by the current ACCEPT lineup: Wolf Hoffmann, bassist Martin Motnik, guitarist Philip Shouse and drummer Christopher Williams, joined on vocals by Jason McMaster.
The album "Teutonic Titans 1976-2026" reaches far beyond the borders of ACCEPT's country of origin. It is a unique recording full of the biggest names in heavy music, paying tribute to German icons, which further strengthens the band's position on the global metal scene.
