Swedish metal band SOEN have revealed the music video for their crushing track “Axis” from their current studio album “Reliance”, which they will perform live at the Pilsen Lochotín Amphitheatre, at the METALFEST OPEN AIR festival, on Saturday 6. 6. late afternoon!

“Axis” is a powerful metal anthem, a resolute and defiant reflection on people, driven by the relentless but swinging drums of Martin Lopez and the impressive vocals of Joel Ekelöf. “This song is about the moment when you start to realize that the roles you are given don’t actually belong to you,” explains singer and frontman Joel Ekelöf. “It’s about overcoming the distance we learn to live with and remembering that there’s something stronger underneath. The fire is already there. The question is whether we’re willing to come closer and follow it together.”

“It’s a straightforward metal anthem for those of us who refuse to pretend that those in power actually have our best interests at heart. A musical “fuck you” for everyone,” adds founding member and drummer Martin Lopez.
