Dutch symphonic metal band WITHIN TEMPTATION has released a powerful new documentary, “Within Temptation: The Invisible Force”. The film offers an intimate and emotional look into the life of this famous band at a crucial moment in their career and the world in general.
Within Temptation: The Invisible Force follows Sharon den Adel and Robert Westerholt as they become increasingly involved in the war in Ukraine. What begins as distant solidarity soon develops into direct action, on and off stage. Determined to go beyond the lyrics and support the Ukrainian cause, Sharon travels to Kiev to meet her fans and offer them a message of hope through a special concert held in the heart of a war zone. During her visit, she meets BLIND8, a young Ukrainian band with a raw and powerful sound, and invites them to join the band's upcoming European tour. However, participating in the tour proves to be a challenge: BLIND8 members may face mandatory military service, and leaving the country is uncertain.
The documentary reveals how the war is not only affecting the people of Ukraine, but also changing the creative and moral compass of artists around the world. How far will the band go to fulfill their ideals? And what happens when music turns into activism?
It's a gripping story of courage, music, and the invisible but powerful force that unites people in times of war.
