SEPTICFLESH have a remarkable ability to maintain continuity from album to album while building on what they have created in the past. The lyrical elements contained in all of their albums are based on opposites. For example, the ideas of heaven and hell, good and evil, or development and destruction often served as metaphorical images in SEPTICFLESH's lyrics. Musically, the band also uses contrasts, you can hear many dynamic differences between the dissonant vs. melodic side, alternating darkness with brightness, creating a unique mix of subtle orchestral passages with a heavy metal sound wave that rolls over you like a tsunami.
