METALFEST OPEN AIR 2025 – amphitheater Lochotín, PILSEN – 6th – 8th of June 2025
We start the new week with, by many metal fans, eagerly awaited news! The international metal open air METALFEST announces the first confirmed bands of its 14th edition, which will take place from Friday to Sunday 6th – 8th of June 2025 in the well-known and very popular amphitheater Lochotín in PILSEN! At the same time, the sale of festival tickets has started at the best price, valid until the end of October, or until this first issue of tickets is sold out. Places in campsites and parking lots are in sale as well!
So, today we are opening the list of confirmed bands for METALFEST 2025, which will be continuously supplemented and updated!
The first confirmed bands are:
KREATOR - titans of world thrash-metal with their stormy, massive and incredibly elaborate stage show are returning to the Czech Republic in June 2025! This time, their hot, in every way monumental show will be experienced by the amphitheater Lochotín in PILSEN as part of the 14th edition of METALFEST! KREATOR is going from strength to strength after their spectacular 40th anniversary celebrations and they are not running out of breath or ideas! This band of thrash-metal veterans gives a clear thumbs up to even much younger metal crushers. No true metal fan will miss their show! So see ya at METALFEST in PILSEN!
EPICA – monumental, is not a sufficient word for what was seen this year at the ROCK CASTLE 2024 festival! The Dutch symphonic-metal star EPICA shone with novelty, originality, beauty and magnificence! Their show is something so special that it will never be missed, so look forward to this beautiful metal symphony, led by one of the most beautiful singers in the world, a fragile lady with a powerful voice, Simone Simons, at METALFEST 2025!
Look forward to another very popular band, AMARANTHE, with the attractive Elize Ryd behind the microphone, or the unquenchable Italian gothic-metal star LACUNA COIL, with another beauty in front, Cristina Scabbia. You will see also the increasingly popular LORD OF THE LOST, the popular BLOODBOUND, the energetic Swedish DYNAZTY or the German gothic-metal regular CREMATORY. Metal fighters ALL FOR METAL, Swedish metal storytellers MAJESTICA or folk-metal ELVENKING will also arrive.
More bands will be added gradually, but it is already clear that the start of the festival summer 2025 will be very sharp and loud again!
