APOCALYPTICA first caught the attention of the metal world with their earliest cover creation of the famous METALLICA "Plays Metallica by Four Cellos" (1996). It was compelling and fun, great, but these cello virtuosos decided to be more than just a tribute band, playing covers of the famous and became one of the most celebrated artists of the metal genre.
However, even the most dedicated fan probably recognizes that their latest record "Plays Metallica Vol. 2" is exactly what they want to hear from them the most! This is a big and careful return to the idea of the founding bow holder Eicco Toppinen, a return to their famous roots!

APOCALYPTICA is a powerful, masterfully played flood of sound, presented in such a bombastic show that it will make your eyes and ears go crazy. These Finns have metal in their veins, but they pass it on with different, very elegant instruments than the rest of the metal world!  Their instrumental rendition of famous Metallica songs is monumental!
