British dark alternative metal band CRIMSON VEIL have revealed their new single 'Awake', a dramatic, emotional and grandiose track from their debut album 'Hex', out on September 20th, 2024. 'Awake' explores themes of sadness and hopelessness, likening emotions to a stormy sea, which is increasingly intense and violent.
"'Awake' is about carrying someone through the water and drowning slowly...it made total sense to shoot the video by the sea. It was shot at sunrise and its was freezing cold! I think you can see how challenging the whole thing was and that only adds to the tension. The drone shots only add to the bleak atmosphere and the feeling of loneliness," explain the band.

Their debut record "Hex" promises to completely engulf your senses with its dark visual aesthetic and musical style that strongly challenges conventional notions of metal.
