The legendary ACCEPT are back and in full force! Already on April 26th, he will release their long-awaited new album "H U M A N O I D", which they will present live, with great commitment, at the jubilee 20th anniversary of the MASTERS OF ROCK festival in VIZOVICE! You really have a lot to look forward to!
The album was again produced by Andy Sneap (Judas Priest, Amon Amarth, Testament, Saxon, etc.), at his Backstage Recording Studios Ltd. "H U M A N O I D" is another huge musical achievement of the world metal extraclass ACCEPT, who are an unquestionable pillar of classic heavy metal for entire generations of listeners, whose ranks have grown many times over with the onset of the digital age! The precursor to the new album, "Too Mean to Die" only cemented the band's reputation as one of the biggest and liveliest metal bands in the world!
However, the new ACCEPT album comes with a warning! Social media, mobile phones, artificial intelligence and our reliance on technologies are gradually stripping us of individuality. Some scientists have said they want to implant computer chips directly into the human brain, which may wipe out our humanity altogether. It's too late? Have we gone too far? ACCEPT send their own distinct warning with this new album and its title track, the single "Humanoid".
"I'm a little afraid that humanity will get lost in all these things and disappear," says Wolf Hoffmann. “People worry that real art will soon become obsolete as technology continues to advance further and further. Those days of thinking - maybe one day, sometime in the future - are gone. Here it comes! It's a scary idea of what the world will look like in a few years. Will people still be interested in composers or in the depth and complexity of man, his emotions and his creations? Are the days of real, live artists numbered?'
ACCEPT's 17th studio album is not a furiously electrifying, concept album. The singer of ACCEPT, Mark Tornillo (nicknamed Analog Man) will never be a supporter of the digital age, which balances the title track with very strong emotions, fragility, highlighting the significant moments we encounter on our journey through life and the qualities that make us unique, human. A person feels and often feels uncomfortable, grows old, copes with injuries, disappointments and the finale, the stop for all, is death.
