The one-day winter version of the popular MASTERS OF ROCK festival – WINTER MASTERS OF ROCK will take place for the eighteenth time this year!
The 18th annual international rock-metal festival WINTER MASTERS OF ROCK will take place on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023 in ZLÍN, in the Datart sports hall, andyou can look forward following bands: famous brothers CAVALERA with a new project "Morbid Devastation", legendary THE DEAD DAISIES band, industrial-death rockers DEATHSTARS, mysterious sci-fi-gothic band PRIEST, the interesting heavy-metal band LIV SIN, or attractive band PHENOMY and more.
Almost four decades into their illustrious career, the famous Cavalera brothers have re-recorded their first and iconic recordings that launched their worldwide career with the now legendary group SEPULTURA. These are the EP "BESTIAL DEVASTATION" from 1985 and the debut album "MORBID VISIONS" from 1986. This year the two brothers played them again under the banner of their brother band CAVALERA. As the thrashers from Brazil kick back into their aggressive, primal upbringings, it becomes apparent that the bond between Max on guitar and vocals, and Iggor on drums has only been strengthened immensely since their first recordings, a connection so thunderous that only those two could be creating it. This unique union is strong as thunder, and only this union can produce what they bring you now to show and play, and what can be boldly called the the absolute peak of the genre called "metal"!
The mission of THE DEAD DAISIES is to create good old 70's rock style, bring together some of the best musicians in the world and most importantly play great rock music live. Their sound is soulful, with strong vocals, bluesy riffs, powerful choruses and melodies, and they play it all live perfectly! Since the release of their first self-titled album in 2013, they have gone from strength to strength. They have released six studio albums, one live and one cover album, and their army of fans is still growing! The current line-up of the band is: John Corabi - vocals (Motley Crue/The Scream), David Lowy - guitar (Red Phoenix), Doug Aldrich - guitar (Whitesnake/Dio), Brian Tichy - drums (OzzyOsbourne/Foreigner) and Michael Devin - bass (Whitesnake). THE DEAD DAISIES are rolling! They create an incredibly strong energy and put it on a masterful live show to prove to everyone that Rock is alive, well, good and still intense.
DEATHSTARS will finally be back with their latest album 'Everything Destroys You' (out May 5th). After more than eight years, it's the highly anticipated return with everything DEATHSTARS stands for: adrenaline, bombast, sex and glam! Torment, destruction, dystopia, glamour, darkness and black humor all belong to their diverse musical spectrum. Get ready for a highly energetic rock'n'roll show that will get your blood pumping again in its charming and unmistakable way.
