MANOWAR - a tribute to the legend of Ronnie James Dio

Legendary Kings of Metal are back, after five years at Masters of Rock.
It will be only one, exclusive show for the Central Europe - Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Austria, Hungary.

Manowar will play except their famous hits and some new songs from the forthcoming studio album also a set devoted to his friend Ronnie James Dio. When Joey DeMaio few years ago at Wacken festival awards Ronnie for his lifelong contribution to world music, he said: "We all read a book called Heavy Metal, but I would like to invite on stage a man who wrote this book."
Ronnie was a friend of Joey, but also an artist who has he always admired and was his idol.

Concert Manowar will be concluded by spectacular fireworks, which Vizovice have never seen before! This unique feast for the eyes will run throughout the final anthem, "The Ring And The Crown".

Fans will be able to buy a brand new CD dedicated to the Ronnie James Dio. CD titled "Magic - A Tribute To Ronnie James Dio"  played by artists from the label Magic Circle - Manowar, Holly Hell, Metalforce, Feinstein (RJ Dio's cousin), and many others, in the festival shop. On a CD with 10 Ronnie´s hits, are basic pieces as Heaven And Hell (performed by Manowar), Holy Diver, Long Live Rock'n'Roll (performed by special All stars band Magic Circle), Catch The Rainbow, and many others.

Joey DeMaio is devoting the Manowar concert on Masters Of Rock to Ronnie James Dio, who died this year, 16th May. "Magic - A Tribute To Ronnie James Dio" is very emotional, because Dio came from the same upstate New York as Manowar.

"Heavy metal has lost tremendous artist and true gentleman. I had the privilege of being his friend and together with other friends and admirers, we would like to honour him and his life."  says Manowar bassist Joey DeMaio.
